Surprise Package from Wes!

Wes from Jaybarkerfan's Junk is up to it again! Sending out surprise packages all over the blog-o-sphere! Here's what showed up at my PO Box!
First of all, this picture doesn't do the stack of cards justice... there's a joke to be made here, but I'll leave it up to your imaginations...

Three relics came out of that stack!
I don't believe I've added a Roy Oswalt relic in YEARS and I really don't think I have too many of Brad Lidge either! Any time I can add a Berkman to my collection, it's a great day...

But as amazing as all the Astros cards that I got, I could believe my eyes when I saw this AMAZING PIECE OF CARDBOARD!
Yea, that's right, BE JEALOUS. Limited to just 98 copies and featuring a high gloss finish, this custom by Topps' online store is amazing. Just to show off some more, here's Wes' back side... errr... ummm... I mean the back of the card...
Yea, sticker of authenticity too, who you like them apples????? JBF has been called generous, eccentric and mysterious? I think he may have quoted me on that one! HA! And he does like to give stuff away for sure... will have to dig deep and find some cards to send back to you Wes! Thanks for another amazing bubble mailer full of awesome cards!

Final 5 Hits from my American Heroes & Legends Blaster Case

Well, here I am back to wrap up this series of posts... Final 5 hits from the blaster case, here we go:
I haven't pulled but one or two of these Olympics relics. This is decent one of Lisa Fernandez! I really like the design on these relics.
Another PROOF! These are all numbered /99. Another Hero from the Tuskeegee Airmen. I really need to go back and watch the movie!
How about another Olympian! Dan Jansen, I now have his relic and his auto from the set!
Shade Lee with another appearance just to remind you that he's a awesome. Don't mess with Shade.
Finally we end the blaster with Dick Gordon. How awesome?!?!?! He piloted the Gemini AND Apollo spacecrafts.

Overall, I definitely feel that this blaster case was well worth the deal at DACardworld if you're into these type of relics. I think it's going to be pretty rare to pull an auto from these Panini blasters but I love these relics and may get me another case some time soon!

Let's Take a Look at Hits 11 Through 15 of the Blast Case

Tired of seeing this yet? I'm not... :-D

Edgar Mitchel! He walked on the MOON! THE MOON!!!!!
Oh the irony of getting Lovell right after Mitchell. This is actually now the third of this same Jim Lovell relic, so if anyone wants to trade, hit me up!
I now have the base relic, and the Olympics auto of Hamilton from this set. Not too shabby at all!
How awesome is this card? Shade Lee looks like a bad ass who you wouldn't want to mess with. His name is Shade. I bet he was the Tuskegee Airman who kept all the others in line.
Finally for this post, we have the man, the myth and the legend Walt Cunningham. In 1968, he was the part of the first 3-man crew to board the Apollo crafts and orbit earth in preparation for the moon missions.

Well, one more post tomorrow and we'll have this blaster case complete.
