In regards to my messed up auto from yesterday... Topps has issued a response:
"Unfortunately the card mentioned will be considered error cards and Topps will not issue replacements or refunds of any sort for this product."
Wow, thanks Topps. Your sticker placement goons mess up and I end up with this frankencard. Another "game-changing" decision from the wonderful folks at Topps.
Man we need competition! Upper Deck had its problems but at least it made Topps look up once in a while.
ReplyDeleteSurprise, surprise. I'd like to see other people do what I'm doing and boycott Topps until they learn to consider the customer and stop putting out horrible product after horrible product, then insult people with horrendous customer service.
ReplyDeletethat's really disappointing they won't true that up. I consider an "error card" a printing mistake - that they may or may not fix. It's just part of the card. But the back of the card probably says "certified auto by the player in question". That's not an error CARD, that's not delivering on your product.
ReplyDeleteSo does that mean you can switch the stickers of two autos and have two valuable error cards?
ReplyDeleteThis is utter bullshit in terms of customer service.
lol, I'd say I'm surprised... but I'm not. What LifeTimTopps said is 100% spot on.
ReplyDeleteWhat you should do is scour ebay for the other one that's messed up, that way you'd have the matching set.
Seriously though, I'd send an email back asking to talk to someone, that's BS.

Nothing is quite as satisfying as yelling at executives. Trust me :)
...I'd also bomb their twitter accounts and facebook page... but that's just me :P
